About Nuckols Gun Works
Our Story
In 2007, an incredible opportunity came our way—one that would allow us to combine our passion for firearms, community, and exceptional service. That year, we, Chris and Megan Kincheloe, became the proud owners of Nuckols Gun Works in Staunton, VA, taking the reins from its longtime owner, Ernest "Ernie" Nuckols.
Nuckols Gun Works had built a solid reputation as a trusted firearms dealer and gunsmithing shop, serving the Staunton and Shenandoah Valley community with dedication and integrity. When he decided to retire, we saw an opportunity not just to continue his legacy but to build upon it and bring new energy to the shop.
With backgrounds in both firearms expertise and customer service, we were excited to embark on this journey. Our vision was clear: to maintain the quality and reputation Nuckols Gun Works was known for while expanding our offerings to better serve our customers. We introduced new inventory, enhanced services, and ensured that every customer walking through our doors received knowledgeable assistance and a welcoming experience. Whether it's helping a first-time gun owner find the perfect fit, providing expert gunsmithing services, or simply fostering a friendly and knowledgeable environment, we take pride in serving our customers.
Owning and operating Nuckols Gun Works has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and we are grateful for the trust and support of our customers. As we look to the future, we are excited to continue growing, innovating, and serving the Staunton community and the Entire Shenandoah Valley for years to come.
